Our Limoges porcelain pin trays are entirely hand painted and often require several firings and hours of work.
The nobility of the white matter of porcelain can be highlighted by meticulous designs, often enhanced in relief, gold or gold leaf.
The creation of a background design requires considering the whole piece, because of the firing temperatures that differ from a colour or model to another.
Even after years of practice, the oven retrieving process still creates apprehension for us, as nothing is ever to be taken for granted. This enhances the charm of porcelain painting.
